The Clerk announced the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag @ 7:00 pm.
The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 7:00

APPROVE MINUTES of Previous Meeting
Prior to tonight’s meeting, copies of Minutes from the Regular Monthly Meeting held on February 19, 2026, were distributed to Board Members for their review.

AUDIT CURRENT EXPENDITURES, Investments, Transfer of Funds, Budget Line-Item Transfers:
MOTION to accept payment for all Town Fund Invoices as presented to the Board on the Disbursement Summary March 19, 2026, in the amount of $7,184.09.

VISITORS ADDRESSING THE BOARD:
TOWN BUILDING, GROUNDS & EQUIPMENT:
Lawn mowing (Darcy) will stay at $50. Beal Landscaping will give us an estimate for some plants around the building, and we’ll look over and vote on at the next meeting.
COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE:

TOWN BUSINESS – Supervisor:
Russ discussed the call from Katie Brown of Comed who called and said we were getting disconnected and needed to pay over $900 at CVS in cash or with a debit card. We called Ameren and they said there was no disconnect.
Levy district will meet at the Township Hall on March 24th at 3:00 p.m. Maple Ridge Cemetery will meet here on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The Road Ordinance needs to be typed up.
CLERK BUSINESS:
Economic Interest statements are due by May 1st. The new computer is proving difficult to get set up.
ROAD BUSINESS – Highway Commissioner:
Denny, we needed the rain. He got rid of some of the salt. Board passed a motion two years ago giving him authorization to make contracts. He’ll get started on the budget. It’s been quiet. No news on his new truck. They told him it would be a year. It has been recommended that the old truck just be sold. He’d be lucky to get $20,000 for it. The other truck was all rewired. Turned the engine off and the brake lights stayed on after the it was turned off so it had to go back for repair.
TRUSTEES / Information / Business:
Rhonda asked about Ordinances for motorized bicycles and golf carts. Dennis Beckman, Road Commissioner said he could give permission, but it would be an insurance liability, so he won’t.
ASSESSOR’S OFFICE / Information / Business:
Waiting for Chad to come up with the increase with property values this year. There have been more houses sold in Hollis Township this past year than in the last five or six years.

NEW BUSINESS:
Agenda for Annual Town Meeting
Trustee meeting will be at 7:00 the day before (April 13). Not a mandatory meeting.
Russ read off the ordinances that will be voted on. Road improvements were signed off. Discussed how much to pay the moderator $50 - $100. Will be voted on by the populace. (Get current voter roles before the town meeting)
